Return & Refund Policy

Firewood Direct is committed to providing high-quality kiln-dried firewood products. We adhere strictly to Irish consumer protection legislation, including the Consumer Rights Act 2022 and relevant EU consumer directives.

Right to Cancel

You have the right to cancel your order without giving a reason within 14 calendar days from the date you receive the goods. To exercise your right of cancellation, you must notify us clearly by email at sales@firewooddirect.ie. Please include your order number and details.

Returning Goods

If you cancel your order, you must return the goods at your own cost within 14 calendar days of notifying us of your cancellation. Goods must be unused, in original packaging (if applicable), and in the condition in which you received them.

Due to the nature of firewood products, opened or partially used bags or crates cannot be returned unless defective.

Refunds

We will issue a refund within 14 calendar days of receiving your returned goods or receiving evidence that you’ve shipped them back to us. Refunds will be processed via your original payment method, including standard delivery costs paid when placing your order. We reserve the right to deduct from your refund if the returned goods show signs of use or damage.

Faulty or Damaged Goods

If your goods arrive damaged or defective, please notify us within 48 hours of receipt, providing photographic evidence. In such cases, we will cover the cost of returning the goods and will replace them or provide a full refund upon verification.

Exceptions

This return policy does not affect your statutory rights under Irish law. Customized or special-order products cannot be returned unless faulty.
